Where every tournament begins
Last updated: 14 October 2026
From organizers: name, phone number, email, academy/association name, and payout verification details (PAN, bank account, IFSC) submitted to our payment gateway partner for KYC.
From players: name, date of birth, gender, phone number, email, FIDE ID, national federation membership ID, school, and academy/coach — only the fields a given tournament asks for. We do not store full payment card or bank details; those are handled directly by our payment gateway partner.
A player's registration details are shared with the organizer of the tournament they registered for — that's the point of the platform. Payment details are shared with our payment gateway partner to process the transaction. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Most registrants are minors. We collect only what a tournament export genuinely needs, and retention is configurable by the platform — by default, player data from a completed tournament is archived or deleted a set period after the event rather than kept indefinitely.
Data is stored on infrastructure located in India. Connections to e4e5.in are encrypted in transit.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold by contacting us — see Contact us. For a specific tournament, you can also ask the organizer directly, since they hold the player list for their event.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves; the date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
